First party of 2012!
2012 is here and it’s time to really get moving! We have a BIG year ahead of us and now more than ever we need to affect change…. and we mean the right kind of change!
The first event of 2012 for the GCYRs will be a presidential debate-watching party on January 19th. We’ll meet at Rehberg’s Kalispell Office located at 116 Main St. in Kalispell at 6pm. Hope you can join us!
We look forward to seeing you there!
Fair Parade Pictures
Another successful parade!
The Fair Parade on August 19th was a success! We had so many Republicans turn out that we were over a block long! The Daily Inter Lake even interviewed our own Lynda Collins. Of course, we think the highlight was the Young Republicans cooking breakfast! I can’t even tell you how surprised people were by the hot breakfast we were serving. I asked one gentleman if we would like some breakfast and he said “sure, how about some eggs and ham” totally joking! So I replied right back ” how about some eggs and sausage?” We got a good chuckle from the look of shock on his face when he found out that we were in fact serving eggs and sausage! A huge thanks for everyone who helped with breakfast and also to all Republicans for joining us in the parade. What is better than handing out American flags with other Republicans in your town’s local parade for fair week with your cowboy boots on? Probably not much!
It’s been a fun summer for the Glacier Country Young Republicans! Our first one as a club and we are looking forward to many more!
4th of July Parade
It’s parade time in Kalispell! This 4th of July, we are looking to have a great presence with trucks, cars, 4-wheelers, bikes, dogs, kids and adults. Please come and join us as we ride, walk, run or skip down the parade route. We’ll also be having a quick “tailgate” party at the end of the parade hosted by the Young Republicans, so please plan on spending a couple extra minutes with us. Even if you don’t join us in walking, but are at the parade, please come by and say hello! If you are interested in joining the Republicans for the parade, please email Jeremy at siblerud@gmail.com or email the GCYRs. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the parade and celebrating our freedom… it’s why we’re here and what we’re fighting for!
It’s Almost Official!
Next week we will be voted in as an official Young Republican club within Montana!! Woohoo!! And it’s almost summertime, so we are starting to really look at having some fun and expanding our group. Have any ideas? Have any places we could have a party at? Let’s hear about ‘em!!
It’s A Party!!
