GCYR By-Laws
BYLAWS OF THE GLACIER COUNTRY YOUNG REPUBLICANS (GCYR)
ARTICLE I. AFFILIATION WITH THE YOUNG REPUBLICAN NATIONAL FEDERATION
The Glacier Country Young Republicans (GCYR) shall comply with all duties of the Montana Young Republican constitution and bylaws. The GCYR shall pay such fees and obligations as required by membership in the Montana Young Republicans and shall send representatives to their functions and official meetings.
ARTICLE II. MEMBERSHIP DUES:
Membership dues will be used to promote the GCYR through meetings, publicity, public events and any other items deemed necessary by the executive committee. Membership dues may not be spent without the consent of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or a majority vote of the Executive Committee. In the event that an expenditure is required by the Chairman or Vice-Chairman, notification to the Executive Committee must be made within ten (10) days of the expense. The Executive Committee is responsible to ensure the solvency of the Y2R.
SECTION 1. VOTING MEMBER DUES:
Voting membership in the GCYR carry’s dues of $25 per year.
SECTION 2. Associate MEMBER DUES:
Associate member in the GCYR carry’s dues of $20 per year.
ARTICLE III. CHANGES TO THE BYLAWS
The bylaws of the organization can be changed by a (2/3) vote of the Executive Committee of the GCYR. No notice is required to introduce a change, but changes approved by the Executive Committee must be published electronically to the entire voting membership within ten (10) calendar days of approval.
